Integrating Oracle PLM Cloud with SAP

Oracle Product Lifecycle Management Cloud consolidates product innovation, development & commercialization on a fully connected platform. The integration between both systems allows for the synchronization of objects to increase productivity by reducing production delays and time to market.
Capabilities
For integration between SAP and Oracle PLM Cloud, the SAP adapter is capable of:
- Create/update items
- Create change orders
- Create/update BOM, their reference designators and substitutes
- Create/update Manufacturer parts

Change order entailing attributes, AML and bill of material (BOM) changes is released
Action 1.1
It searches for the particular item in SAP and creates the item if not found in the system. Then it adds/updates all the attributes according to the change order
Action 1.2
For BOM, item search is carried out. If it does not exist, it is created. Then BOM is added to the item. Reference designator, substitutes and organizations are updated

An AML search is carried out. If it does not exist, it is created. It is then added to the respective item

It searches for the particular item in SAP and creates the item if not found in the system. Then it updates all the attributes including all custom fields
